use TppReport in thread ?

Hello,



Have someone experience about using a TppReport component in a thread ?

Of course only printing or write to file, not preview.

All the logic will be in the same thread, dataconnection, queries and so on.
I'm using D6 Pro and RB 6.03

Version 7 was made threadsafe. V6 has issues.

There is an example in the RB 7 source code. See
ppOutlineSettingPreviewThread.pas.

BTW, Anyone played with the cool Report | Outline Settings dialog yet?
It uses a report thread to generate a preview of what the report outline
will look like. Open a complex report and configure the various outline
settings and press preview. I love playing with this thing.
