New Blog Posts: Merging Reports - Part 1 and Part 2

Looking for the right approach ...

edited February 2003 in General
Hi,
I just need to find a generic solution to printing a few reports ... I've
got a requirement to print a range of maintenance tables ... where the
number of fields is variable ... minimum 2 / maximum 5 ... so they should
fit protrait. I'd like to avoid having to generate a report per table but
maybe I'll have to.
In essence, I'm using DevExpresses Quantum Grid and I'd like to be able to
print that !

OK ... if there's a way of tackling that one ... I'd also like to be able to
automate the report grouping ... DevExpress supports customized grouping and
again I'd like to replicate that with Report Builder ... this time, due to
the potential number of user selected grouping arrangements, it'd be
impractical to provide a report per configuration ...

I know that DevExpress grids can be printed and exported but I don't like
the output format and I'd prefer it if all the reports looked professional
and consistant ... so they have to be produced by Report Builder.

Thanks,
