Windows XP Preview form

I have report builder version 7.01 and on windows xp I am noticing the
following:

For a report, I first do some calculations and write them to a
temporary ascii file, then when all of the calculations are done,
print the report with a textpipeline object. Everything looks fine in
the preview form except for the toolbar right below the Print Preview
caption that is in the upper right corner. It looks like part of the
toolbar from the MainMDI app is showing up in the left top corner of
the preview form. It only does this on Windows XP machines and an
older app that uses 5.56 of the report writer on the same machine does
not do this. Has anybody heard of this and a way to fix it?
