Data missing in report text file

I have reports where I send the information to a report ASCII text file. On
occasion, the data on a preceding line may be missing in the text file but
it is there when you preview the report on the screen.

If I change the font size or type to a smaller font, the problem will
sometimes be corrected for awhile. But it may come back later.

I am using RB 7 and delphi 5 on a Windows 98 computer attached to a Novell
5.0 network.

Any ideas?

Make sure that the report controls are configured to a fixed width font such
as courier new 10. See the main reports demo #107 in which the report is
configured to map to the desired character grid of the report emulation text
file. Also, the top properties of the text controls are also all precisely
placed in increments so that they can map to the character grid of the file.
