I can't see my Report Designer

edited March 2003 in General
Hi everyone.

Ok, I am sure that I did something but I cannot for the life of me figure
out what that something is. I am using ReportBuilder Pro 7.02 for Delphi 5.
In the wee hours of the morning after many hours of programming and using RB
just fine, I double click my ppReport component and nothing came up. I
double clicked again, nothing. I see that the Report is in my task bar, I
try to Alt+Tab to it and nothing. I reboot my machine and try again,
nothing. Tried looking for that dsk file that can sometimes cause me
problems in Delphi, nothing. Out of desperation, I uninstall ReportBuilder,
reboot the machine, install ReportBuilder and reboot again. Same results,
nothing. When I arrived at work this morning I copied the project to another
machine which has RBPro 7.01 and I have no problems, I can view the Report
Designer. Does anyone know how I did this, and how to undo it?

Thanks,
Joanne

    Hi Joanne,

sometimes a window will be shown out of view (or behind modal windows). Use then + to invoke the window menu, which will be always visible in the view, and select 'move'. (deleting or manipulating 'RBuilder.ini' should solve the problem here too)

    Joanne,

Try closing Delphi and deleting the .dof and .cfg files for your project,
then relaunching the project.. If this does not help, try changing you
default printer then relaunch Delphi to see if the driver is the cause of
    the problem.
