Question about keeping groups together on one page

edited March 2003 in General
Hi,

i have a report with three groups; on the group [0] (the outermost) i have selected "Start new page" and on the other two ([1] and
[2]) the "Keep group together" option is selected. The problem is that sometimes the bands Group Header [1], Group Header [2],
Detail and Group Footer [2] print on the first page and the Group Footer [1] prints on the next page. Why does this happen, since
the whole content could fit on one page ?

Thanx

There are no known issues like this. Can you produce this problem with
ReportBuilder 7.02? If so, please send an example to
    support@digital-metaphors.com and we'll take a look.

    Hi,

well, i'm not using ReportBuilder 7.02 but ReportBuilder Enterprise 6.03 for Delphi 5. Is there maybe any bug in this version?

    Thanx

    John,

There is no record of a bug in ReportBuilder 6.03 that matches your
description, however over the last two years many fixes and improvements
have been made that could be related to the issue you are having. Please
try downloading the trial version of ReportBuilder Enterprise 7.02 and
testing your report with that. (Be sure to back-up all reports you open with
the trial version). If the problem is resolved, you will have to upgrade.
If not, please send a working example to support@digital-metaphors.com and
    I'll take a look.
