Dynamic subreport loading....and groups
Dynamic subreport loading is great! I have built on the example provided in
\RBuilder\Demos\3. EndUser\5. Dynamic Subreport Loading.
Now I use stand-alone subreports for all possible purposes, and I build most
reports by simply linking a number of subreports dynamically. I even made a
cute user interface for it.
However, big problem: As soon as a subreport contains a group, the Dynamic
Subreport Loading process goes down with a crash (Access Violation Error).
Does anybody know about this problem, and (hopefully) a cure?
I load the subreports just like in the example, by overriding the
Subreport.StartOfMainReport procedure. I know it is the very dyn.loading
process that is the problem, because it all works fine if I manually save
the grouped subreport to a file, then manually load it into the master
report (via File menu)...
TIA
