Subreport-CalcVariables in the Mainreport

I have a master-detail-table (orders and items). I create a mainreport group
by Orders.OrderNo and a subreport group by Items.OrderNo. That works.

But some large orders exceeds more than one page. Therefore i want to
print/preview at the end of the first page (in the footer band of the
mainreport) the sum of the printed itemprices of the first page and on the
following page (in the groupheader of the subreport) the same value called
sum carried forward and at the end of the page, again in the mainreport
footerband, the new sum and so on.

How can i code this with variables or RAP?
