Memos in the Group-Header

edited November 2002 in Subreports
Hello,

I have a Master-Detail-Report with Header, Detail (Subreport),
Summary and a Footer in the Mainreport. In the Subreport, i have a
Group-Header which contain
some DBMemos and DBTexts. DBTexts are in Regions. The
ShiftRelativeTo-Property is set for all Memos and Regions. All Components
should be print continuosly, one after the other.

My problem: if there is a Pagebreak by printing the Group-Header, the
remaining Memolines and the following Group-Header-Components are not
printed on the next page. There is only white space. Same happens, if i put
all components in the Group-Footer or if i create a second Subreport in the
Header.

I use D5 and RB7.

Now, i put all the Memos in the Detailband of the Subreport and set them
Visible by code on some conditions, so i can delete the groupheader and
groupfooter. But what happens? The same i described above, white space
    again. That's very strange.

What other bands do you have in the report? Do you have a section style
subreport? Is the Titleband or Summary bands set to NewPage = True? Are
there other groups with NewPage turned on? If there are other bands in the
layout, drop colorized shapes into them to see where those bands are
printing. That should shed some light if there are bands like this.
Otherwise, send us a simple demo report to support@digital-metaphors.com and
    we'll look into it.

    Cheers,
