Installation Problems
Hello,
I have D6 Enterprise and RB 7. I am reloading my machine after
reformatting (So a fairly clean Delphi) and I am having a lot of trouble
getting RB to install into Delphi. It goes through the install process
and seems to complete fine - but when I start Delphi No RB components
show - not even the RB tab in the components list. This never happened
when I originally installed everything months ago...
I can go into install packages and see that the entries are there - but
they are not checked. I can then check them and the tab and components
appear in the component pallet at the top. However, if I shut down
Delphi and then restart - the components and the RB tab are gone
again...
Very frustrating. Has anyone encountered this before?
Any thoughts would be appreciated?
My Delphi has DexExpress Grid, and Bar Manager installed, Raize
components, and JCVL.

Access the Components | Install Packages dialog and select the checkboxes
related to the RB packages. Prior to closing the dialog, select the Default
checkbox at the lower left corner.
Note: Delphi also has a strange way of storing the installed package
configuration with projects that you work on. I find this quite annoying.
Somtimes when you open a project it changes what packages are installed. So
you may have to repeat the above for certain projects.
