Mouse driver is not working
Hi,
that's a very strange situation.
In RB 7.04 without Build 2 the mouse wheel was working but not the keys I
mentioned in my last thread. Now in RB 7.04 Build2 the key are working again
but the mouse wheel failed.
I use a microsoft intelli mouse optical with the latest mouse driver 5.0.
Cheers

Please let me know your exact computer and software configuration so I can
test this. So far in testing with ReportBuilder Enterprise, Delphi 5, 6,
and 7 with Windows 2000, and Windows XP, the mouse wheel is working
correctly. I am using a Microsoft Intelli Wheel Mouse Optical USB and PS2
compatable, with the built in drivers.

I am using Delphi 6.02 and Windows 2000 SP4 with the same mouse. What do you
understand under build in drivers? Please test the new mouse driver 5.0.
Download this driver from microsoft webpage. Seems to be brand new. Mouse
wheel works in all my programs, but not in RB's preview. But this is very
strange, the old microsoft mousedriver 4.01 works. Can you confirm this
behaviour?

I installed the IntelliMouse 5.0 drivers and re-tested, but I am still
unable to recreate the error. I am now unsure how to procede, as it seems
we have an identical machine setup. I will try to research this issue
further and see if I can come up with something. As for now, you may need
to use the older driver until we can shed some light on this issue.

many thanks for your re-test.
The only efficient way to procede is to send me your mouse on trial. .
