Enable RB6 for new user profile
Hello,
I have installed Report Builder 6.x on a Windows 2000 (SP3) computer.
The package installed in Delphi 5 and all components were usable. Last
week I created a new user profile on this Windows 2000 computer and
imported the Delphi 5 registry for the new user. However, when the new
user opens Delphi 5, the Report Builder components are not are not
available. How do I enable use for the new user profile without
re-installing RB6?
Thanks,
Norma Luton

When you load Delphi 5 in the new user profile, are the ReportBuilder
packages installed into the IDE? Or are they even present to install? In a
new user profile, the default Delphi settings might exclude the
ReportBuilder packages. Select Component | Install Packages... from the
Delphi main menu and be sure the RB packages are in fact installed for the
new user.
