Printbehaviour - Fixed in Group Footer

edited July 2003 in Subreports
Hi there,

I have a report with a group for Location. What I need is a sub report for
every Location to display totals for the location but this sub report must
be on its own page (also the main report is landscape and I would like to
have the sub report portrait).

I have placed the sub report in the group footer band and made the print
behaviour fixed - nothing of the sub report prints at all - when I change it
to child it prints fine but now it keeps the header detail of the main
report as it will run over to the next page pluss I can then not change the
page setup to portrait. I can also not select section type print behaviour
at all. Why is this?

What am I missing with the sub reports?

Thanks a lot!

You should be able to use a section style subreport, because that is the one
which prints on a new page and lets you define a different printer setup.
That is what you should use if you want the subreport to have a different
orientation. See the main reports demos # 51-52 which do this and can get
    you on the right track:)

Most likely, the reason you don't see the fixed style subreport, is that you
haven't resized the subreport control in the main report to use a fixed
amount of space in the band.
