Main Report Header and Footer Not Printing

edited April 2004 in Subreports
Im trying to make a report with this format

(page 1)
//must appear on every page

overflow goes to next page
overflow goes to next page

overflow goes to next page

overflow goes to next page
//must appear on every page

(page 2 .....)

overflow from previous page
overflow from previous page
overflow from previous page
overflow from previous page

I tried doing this with subreports where

Subreport1 = pbchild
Subreport2 = pbsection, NewPrintJob = True

but the header and footer for page 2 dont appear. why? are subreports the
best way of doing this kind of report?

Thanks

    Hi Dan,

    Section style subreports are designed to allow users to add numerous single
    report to one report for printing purposes. For this reason, the page
    header and page footer will not show up when printing one of these style
    subreports. You can either create copies of the page header and page footer
    inside the header and footer bands of the section subreport or try using a
    child style subreport.
