subreport datapipelines

edited April 2004 in Subreports
As mentioned in a earlier post, I have 10 subreports(dunno if thats the best
idea!). anyway, each subreport has its query. Do I have to add a
datasource and DB Pipeline for each subreport?

Any DataSet that you want to include in a report requires a TDatasource and
    DBPipeline.

If you have RB Professional or Enterprise you can use the Query Tools
available on the Data workspace of the ReportDesigner to visually create SQL
DataViews. This is probably 100 times more productive than doing it
manually. The SQL is generated for you, the Dataset/DataSource/DBPipeline is
created behind the scenes, and you can visually link queries by dragging
from the detail query field to the master query field.
