yes i'm generating a .raf file, the size of the file is 108 Megabytes,
excusme for not be specific with the details, I'm using D7 RB 11.08, the
report is generated in a XP Machine with 4 GB Ram, i'm using Advantage… -

I set Shape.Brush.Style to bsClear before print and when I exporting
report to XLS now shape is background and label and text are in foreground.

Hi,
after you have printed report you can open pdf file with shellexecute
command:
shellexecute(application.handle, pchar('open'), pchar(filename),
pchar(user) or '', nil, SW_SHOWNORMAL);

I've got it: It was the translation tool (not RB translation...) that
was suddenly reseting all fonts in all language to tahoma.

I'll do that but i doubt that it will help. As said, the reports worked
fine with RB11.04 before.
What makes me wonder is, that the problem seems to have nothing to do
with the runtime environment (tested on 3 differen… -
For this project I'm using D7 with RB11.04 I've tried AcrobadReader X
and FoxIt-Reader as viwer. Both show that only Tahoma is used in the
PDF, while the report is using Times new Roman and Arial....

I sorted out the blank PDF. It's being caused by the fact that the report
runs a second time in order to produce the PDF. There is some code in the
before print of the report that connects and disconnects datasources,Hi Nico,
This is not a complicated report but I am going to try to "simplify" the
report layout by eliminating fields. It's something about this particular
report.

I've been trying to implement this but am struggling to get the rich text
back out from the report.
My initial thought (the long way round) was to save the report as an RTF
