I would like this patch as well.

Ditto on wanting the patch...... This is holding up a project
migration from Delphi 5 to Delphi 6.

How can I get this patch ?

That works great Jim! Thanks. This brings up 2 questions.
1) How can I close the preview dialog via code?
2) How should I stop the execution of the print command (user pressing the
Ok button)? Currently I am using Abort.
Sorry about the 'double post'. The second message is up to date.
Thanks for your answer, but it works well only at design-time (as far as I
tried).. I didn?t make myself clear, sorry..
The fact is that I need this at runtime, becouse I do some run-time work
with all diferent reports..
Jim:
My issue is at Design time, not run time. How can I cause the IDE to
resync the created field list with the TTable or TQuery ??? The addfield
just adds a blank field.
I'm interested in replicating the TTa…Ooops (sheepish grin)

www.bigdumb…Jim,
Found the problem, both columns were starting at 5.5 some how. Thanks.

Jim,
I changed the width of the column to 5.5 and the height of the band to
4.25. It is only printing the right two columns as before
(overprinting 2 records). Did I miss something? I am trying to print
4 postcards on one …Thank you very much. I'm a newbie.
Rico,
I cannot see that it could be otherwise.

Rico,
As a workaround I would set TppDBPipeline.OpenDataSource=false. Then in the
TppDBPipeline.OnOpen I would set the following code:

end;

The DataSets connected to the DBPipelines of the Subreports are still being
Opened. Thus there will still be overhead that you don't want. It would be
nice…Rico,
Firstly, I would avoid using Master/Detail relationships as far as possible
when accessing data on SQL-servers. I found that the Delphi data access
components open and close the detail dataset much more than is needed -
Jon, Bruce,
you were right the problem was in my browser -darn Outlook caught me out
Can get at the tech-tips now.Sarah,
As confirmed by Bruce, there's lots there to see so it must be
your local setting on your browser.
Jon
Thanks Jon, but the tech-tops NG does not seem to have anything like that in
it. Actualy there seems to be less in there than I remember. Is this just
me, or has the tech-tips srunk?
Check the
......ReportBuilder.tech-tips NG under "pagination."
It tells you how to do this.
Jon
Well if someone has a component to do this then ReportBuilder must have
properties and methods to make it possible. Anyone in DM like to give us a
hint what they are?
Having to purchase a suit of components (good though it may b…
