i tried to add a #13 or #13+#10 in the ongetcaption events, this alters the
caption but does not have the effect
of multilining it
is this somehow possible?

also is it possible for the caption of the columns to be multi-line
cause i need rather descriptive captions and like it is now i have way to
much white space between column values

the number of columns aren't fixed, so it may well be that i now need to

Spam is such a pain. It has only just started to come in on my DM newsgroup

I think I've got this one licked. What I did was, I wrote a function that
initializes the stringlists (clears them then populates them with the base
data). I am now calling this routine from the OnPrintDialogClose event
which appear…Let me explain what I'm trying to do and maybe you will have a little more
insite. I have a deposit table that has 58 fields in it that contain
various values for things such as late charges, bad checks, interest paid,
principal paid…I tried this and got an error. All of my code for the report is stored
inside the template. In the Report.BeforePrint event in the template I
added the line
Report.Reset; and then tried to run the report, that's when I got the error…Oh and also on this report I have calculated values displayed in the viewer.
When I print this report, all the values are now doubled, if I print it
again they are trippled. How would I keep the calculations from happening

I can reproduce this................

Simply take your EndUserDOA demo, and substitute LONG template
column with a CLOB and you'll see....
The only difference I see between item table in CreateTables.sql and
the our version is the TEMPLATE field, which is a CLOB in our case.
This was the reason for the patch we applied several days ago (rb
did not like CLOB instead of LO…I think I have the confusion cleared up. The naming order of the group
components was conflicting with the numbering of the newest group. For
better or worse, I adopted a naming convention to match the actual group
