Installing Elevate DB DADE for Delphi 2007

edited August 2008 in General
I have Delphi 5, Delphi 2006 & Delphi 2007.

I have installed Elevate DB DADE for Delphi 2006 which works.

When attempting to compile rbEDB1010 for Delphi 2007, I receive missing
package errors for RBIDE1010, RBRCL1010, RBDB1010, RBDAD1010.

These files are in RBuilder\Source directory for Delphi 2006
(pf\Borland\BDS\4.0\RBuilder\Source) but are not in any of the Delphi 2007
directories.

What are the instructions for installing the ElevateDB DADE into Delphi 2007?

Thank you . . . .

Richard Harding

    The zip file contains ReadMe.doc with instructions for compiling the
    packages.

    The RBuilder\Lib directory contains the .dcp files that are 'required' by
    the packages (rbRCL1010.dcp, etc.. - the .dcp files are what the compile is
    looking for). Make sure you have RBuilder\Lib in the Delphi library path.

    Thanks Nard,

    I took me a while to work out that the correct packages for Delphi 2007
    are rbRCL10105 . . . . . . (I do not quite understand the naming convention)

    All working now.

    Thank you

    Richard Harding.

    The reason for the 105 suffix is that Codegear increased the compiler
    version by .5, so we decided to do the same for our installation files and
    package names.
