Parameter Searching

Hi

RB11.03 & Delphi 2007

This is a wish list item. Parameters are a great step forward but what
would make them excellent is incremental searching rather than just the
first letter. This would be consistent with the searching technique used in
Delphi's lookup combo boxes and what my users are used to.

    Hi Tim,

    I'm a bit unclear about what you are asking. The searching functions the
    same way normal AutoSearch fields do in DADE which coincides with SQL
    standards. Perhaps you can elaborate a bit more on what you would like to
    see added.

    Image the list of lookup entries goes as follows:

    Chris
    Colin
    Ian
    Mike
    Nathan
    Nicholas
    Nick
    Nico
    Nigel
    Oscar
    Oliver


    If at present i type NICO in the lookup the values displayed go as follows:

    Nathan
    Ian
    Chris
    Oscar


    wheras I believe it should go:

    Nathan
    Nicholas
    Nico
