Labels Print Position

I am running RB 10.07 and D7.
In a report that was designed using label template, is there a way to set
the label position to start printing the detail band. I want to do it
programmatically?
Say the user has printed on labels 1 & 2. I want to prompt for the starting
position and allow the user to select postion 3. Is there a property to set
for starting position or how would I allow for that?
