ASP.Net Deployment

edited March 2010 in General
Guys:

I am porting my app to Delphi2010 from Delphi 5 and RB 6.01. However -
within a year we will be deploying our app in a web-based format - right now
we are leaning toward ASP.Net. We would really like to continue using
ReportBuilder - it is a great product. Do you guys have any plans to support
the ASP development environment ??? Thank you.

RB Server Edition can be used to published reports to remote web browsers
and windows clients. Here is a link to an rbWiki 'How To' example that shows
how to use Delphi to build a COM WebTier that can be called from ASP.NET

    Nard:

Isn't youe enterprise product priced on a per server basis ??? That would
become cost prohibitive to us. We are a low cost providor. Am I correct
    about your pricing ???

We would have a different database/ip address for each client. Would this
result in multiuple licenses ??? Many of our customers pay under $100 a
    month to us.

Hmm, I posted about the Server Edition and now you ask about licensing for
the Enterprise Edition, I am guessing you mean Server Edition? :)

The Server Edition has a deployment license that is $250 per server CPU. A
unique URL for each client, would require a server for each client, yes.
