Print barcode ( code128 ) in Pdf files
Hi, i need a suggestion from you!
We must print a small label ( 50x30 mm ) in a pdf files , to permit
printing by another pc in other office.
this pdf contains a barcode (code 128 or code 39 it's the same... ) and
printing the result pdf files causes bars are not clear and so barcode
is not readble
I tried with "scaleimages" or using pdf/a and other pdfsettings but
without success.
have you an idea or a suggestion ?
thank you!

Which version of ReportBuilder are you using? Are you using the barcode
component included with ReportBuilder or are you exporting an image of a
barcode?
Barcodes in ReportBuilder are not exported as images, they are drawn
directly to the PDF file which should give the highest quality possible.
Try creating a simple example with just a barcode on a report. If you
export that to PDF, is the quality still the same?

barcode are not too big, 4.5cm x 2cm at maximum. maybe can be this the
problem?
now i tried with external font that writes barcode and embedding it
into pdf/a file. it seem better, but i must calculate pairs and special

Are you able to properly scan the barcode from the preview or by
directly printing the report? The barcode in PDF should look identical
to the RB preview/print.
Please send a simple example application of this in .zip format to
support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.
