Range Check Error In Designer

edited April 2014 in General
Hello,
Just upgraded from RB 9 to 15.03.

Windows 7 x64

In the report designer (either as an End User DADE environment or using
pipelines and TppDesigner) if I open any report and then click on a DBtext,
then attempt to change the font using the toolbar dropdown, as I click the
dropdown I get a Range Check Error Dialog. I also get lots of range check
errors if I attempt to edit a richtext content.

Changing font from the properties box works.

If I rebuild the project with range checking disabled, so far it seems to
work ok.

    Hi Steve,

For future reference, please use your real name when posting to these
    newsgroups.

This is not a known issue. I performed a simple test with our end-user
demo and Range Checking on and was able to change the font of a DBText
using the font combobox without any errors.

As a test, try changing the default printer on your machine or the
selected printer in the report and see if that gives a different result.

    Nico,
    Thanks for the reply.

I have since tried an executable with range checking on another PC and it
    works ok.

I tried changing the default printer and it now seems to work ok, the
default printer has always been the same and I had no Issues with RB 9.

I believe the driver is the HP laserjet 5 as Installed with windows.

    Regards

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

As a test I installed the HP LaserJet 5 driver on my machine and set it
to the default printer. I was still unable to see a range check error
when trying to alter a font of a DBText.

    1. What is the exact driver you are using (I installed the standard HP
LaserJet 5 driver included with Windows).

    2. Which version of Delphi are you using?
