Upside Down Duplex
Hello
RB11.03Ent and Delphi 2007
Has something changed in version 11 with duplex printing. Duplex
(horizontal) reports previously printing ok are now upside down on the
duplex page. Changing the duplex to vertical fixes the problem but I think
this is incorrect.

11.02. The change I think is with the 11.03 update.

General.
Nothing has changed to affect this in RB 11 or any of the maintenance
releases.
There has been confusion in the past about the Duplex settings: Horizontal
vs Vertical and what they are intended to do. I believe they are correct
now. Though perhaps some printer drivers treat them differently, I do not
know. In older versions (perhaps it was RB 9 I do not recall) we had them
defined backwards.
Here is the definition from the Windows SDK..
DMDUP_HORIZONTAL
Short-edge binding, that is, the long edge of the page is horizontal.
DMDUP_VERTICAL
Long-edge binding, that is, the long edge of the page is vertical.

Thanks for your response which answered the problem but it is not a change
in the printer driver.
Whilst I had RB10 I for various reasons did not really implement it in my
development work and i effectively jumped from RB9 to RB11. As as my
customers request a change to their bespoke software programs they then get
the update in Report Builder at the same time. Some, but not all, have
duplex reports and hence the problem is only just appearring. The problem
as you pointed out is with RB9 and not RB11! I was always confused with
setting duplex to horizontal but it worked so I did not query it.
