PDF Output Quality Issue
Hi,
Am finding some issues with the internal PDF printing facility prvoided
within ReportBuilder. When the report displays on screen it looks fine
however when pdf and viewed or printed the out put is very grainy almost
illegible. We are using an Arial font of pitch 7 (its a legal document).
If I print to a common PDF writer such as Adobe or Nitro it displays and
prints clearly. Any ideas on how to imrpove it? I do need t ouse the
internal pdf function because we automatically split pages and save them to
different files.
Thanks
Alex

Which version of ReportBuilder are you using? Are you using RichText
components?
Earlier versions of ReportBuilder converted advanced components such as
TppRichText and TppBarcode to bitmaps before exporting them to PDF causing a
reduction in quality. This has been enhanced for RB 11 where the advanced
components are drawn to PDF as vector graphics retaining the highest quality
output.
