Setting Database Type to dtElevateDB

At design time, the ppDesigner1.DataSettings.DatabaseType is set to
dtElevateDB.

At runtime, when I show Data Settings dialog, the Database Type is
blank. The only option in the drop down list for the Database Type is
dtNexusDB.

I am using RB 11.06. I have recently upgraded from 11.05. I think I
could previously select dtElevateDB as the database type.

Should the database type be persistent and how can I select dtElevateDB
as the Database Type?

Hi Richard,

Be sure you have daElevateDB in your uses clause. This will register the
database type in ReportBuilder at runtime and should keep the setting in the
designer persistent.

Hi Richard,

Thanks I will change these for the next release. Note that the ElevateDB
plugin is now installed with ReportBuilder and is located in the \Demos\4.
EndUser Databases\ElevateDB\... directory

Databases\ElevateDB\... is correct - GetDataType returns dtElevateDB
