Problem with Report Builder 10.4 TPPDesigner:
Hi All
My name is Julien van der Pluym I work for a company called Cura.
We are using report builder 10.4 in our current delphi developed
applications.
We are opening the PPDesigner component at runtime for our customers
to design their own reports. When we close the Delphi Application down
we get an Access Violation caused by the report builder.
I have pin pointed the problem to the ppDesignerWorkspace.pas unit and the
problem
happens in the TppBoundsRect class in the SetParent Method.
This problem has only started happening when we started using Report builder
version 10.xxx
Is there a patch for this or can the Report builder development team suggest
a solution to this problem.
Many thanks
Regards
Julien van der Pluym.

- this is not a known issue with RB 10.04. Try running the
RBuilder\Demos\EndUser examples and test whether you can recreate the issue
using one of the examples. If you are successful, then post specific steps
here and include more about which Delphi version you are using and specify
any Delphi updates installed.
- one possibility is that you have a corrupt installaion. Below is an
article about cleaning up a corrupt install.
