Changed behavior of stretch function
Dear,
A while ago we upgraded from RB18 to RB20 (20.02 currently installed).
We noticed changed behavior in the stretch function on DBRichtext components.
In RB18 the stretch function only enlarged the component in the top-down direction.
In RB20 the stretch function also enlarges the component in the left-right direction.
In some of our reports, other components are placed next to a DBRichText component.
We run a large number of reports, which makes that this change brings a lot of checks on our side.
Was this change ment to happen and will this be permanent?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Kind regards,
Tom

There have been no (deliberate) alterations to the way stretchable components behave in ReportBuilder. Stretchable components should only stretch vertically.
In my quick testing with a sample DBRichText, I was unable to recreate any horizontal increase in size. Please create a simple example we can run here using only RB and Delphi components and send it to support@ so we can research further.
