oncalc problem

edited January 2002 in General
With rb ver 5.5.6 I'm using a tppvariable with the oncalc event to generate
subtotals for a group in a report. When I page through the report page by
page in the viewer or print it, the subtotals are correct. However, if I go
directly to the last page in the viewer, the subtotals on the last page are
incorrect. If I go back one page from the last and then return to the last
page, the subtotals are then correct. I'm wondering if anyone is familiar
with this behavior and could either tell me how to correct it or point me to
additional info for correcting the problem. Thanks.
Richard

settings for tppvariable
calctype = veTraversal
resettype=veGroupEnd
resetcomponent=Group2 (group the subtotals are for)

    When you choose to go to the last page in the previewer, all of the pages
    should be generated in the report in exactly the same way that they are
    generated to any output device. The problem you are experiencing isn't a
    known issue. Try upgrading to RB 6.03 as the first step. If you are using
    the OnCalc events to set the value of the variable, there shouldn't be any
    problems. If the problem persists in RB 6.03, can you send us a simple
    example report to support@digital-metaphors.com? Take one of our installed
    demo reports as a starting point if you would like.
