Foot, summary problem recognized

For a long time i recognized there is a problem with print position of foot
and summary, now i recognized where and why.

Have a Report A4 287 mm height
Top Bottom Margins set to 0
Have a Foot (Fuss) and a Summary (Zusammenfassung)

I have a multi Page Report. There should on first page print the Foot (Fuss)
only and on last page the Summary (Zusammenfassung) only.
So I set the Foot and Summary to fixed height (example both to 25mm - but
could be different) and the PrintPosition of Summary (Zusammenfassung)
fixed to (297 - 25mm= 272mm). Print this report and it never ends - results
in a loop------

I have to calculate and set this way:
Total height - (height of Foot + heigth of Summary) = most bottom position
of Summary
297 - (25 + 25) = 247 set this in Print Position of Summary
(Zusammenfassung) then it works.
The Print position then is right (247) but there should be more down (250
eg)

Short the print position of Summary can not be higher than this calculated
position. The Failure is that the heights of foot and summary are added both
for the possible print position of summary although there is no foot on last
page. Only the height of summary should care if i have no foot.

I will assume you have the summary band set to NewPage = True. When the
summary band prints, then set the Footerband to Visible = False. Then set
the PrintPosition of the summary band to the bottom of the page. The best
way to do this is to shift the draw commands to the bottom of the page.

Hi Jim

Set Summary new Page is false (I will have the Summary on last Page bottom
(above the last items), not on a new page.)

I'm sure that this has changed from version 5.x to 6.x.
I visited some customers and they work with the 5.x. So I have fears to mak
a software update (redesign reports).
If I say I would not have any foot on last page and set the summary then not
any foot settings should care on lastpage - but this happends.
Now I will look for a work around, but the problem is not resolved.
