enterprise vs pro?
Hi looking at buying RB.
Understand the difference is RAP, and RAP allows you to seperate the reports
from the app.
My basic criteria is that I need end users to be able to develop reports.
There are no calculations I am aware of they need to perform for this, and
it is a desktop app in one location (not file shared, client server etc and
just the one location). Ideally RAP sounds better (segregation of report
definitions and apps) but enterprise is more $$.
Is enterprise sufficient?
Thanks,
Lauchlan M.

personally i would go for the enterprise version, thus being able to use rap
then you are rather safe for the future when your customers do want to do
some calculation or want to color something depending on the value of a
field
when using rap, all this can be coded in the report, otherwise you'll have
to hook up events
i now it is more $$$ but in my eyes well spend...
the only thing i'm missing is a CodeRush/CodeSite interface

CodeSite is supported
