    Should not be any issues. I would recommend looking at IBO for native
    connections to the DB from RB.

    Yes,
    we are getting invalid variant conversion error with the IBX components.

    It still does not work with the patch, and actually it the files in the
    patch seem to be the same as in rb 6.03
