Further to messages a few weeks ago relating to the ability to have the
report viewer generate the complete report while viewing page 1....

The example for attaching a device and then calling printtodevices did not
work.

All i want to be able to do is tell my report to run. While the end user is
looking at page 1 i want it to be generating the rest of the pages so that
there is no delay when they actually come to hit next page.

This seems to be a standard feature in other report writers. Does anybody
know how to do it in Reportbuilder?

Researched it a bit. You can create your own ReportThread class which
descends from TThread, contains a TppReport component and generates the
report pages. You then feed the pages back to the PrintPreview form.

Depending on your time frame, probably not worth doing. Changes &
enhancements in 6.5 will make this very easy to do in that version. Current
target time frame for release is two months...
