RBuilder And Interbase
Hello
I'm using RBuilder since it's very first editions, but always using the DOA
DADE Plugin. In that case if I have a db-report (Oracle through DOA) all I
have to do is to place a TOracleSeession in my form, set the ppDesigner
DatabaseSettings according to the TOracleSession parameters and from now on
when my report is called for print it establishes it's Oracle Connection
automatically and finaly prints. Now I need to make a db-report which
collects it's data from Interbase using BDE. In that case what should I do
in order for my db-report to connect automatically to Interbase and not
prompting the Interbase logon dialog ?
Should I place a TDatabase and a TSession component just for Interbase and
RBuilder ? I must admitt that I've not much experience using BDE, so if my
above question sounds a little naive please forgive me ... (D5, RB-Ent
v6.03)
Thanks in advance for your reply

as the parameter list (Params) contains the correct username and password.
You shouldn't need a TSession as long as your application is not
multi-threaded.
