Page #'s don't increment when using non-default printer
I am using RB 7 and Delphi 6 SP2 in WinXP. I recently upgraded a 6.03 report to 7.0 format.
The print preview for the report works fine. However, if I print the report to a printer
that is not the default printer (i.e. I change the printer in the print dialog), the
variable for page numbers will not increment in the report.
That is, all pages will always say "1" even though it is printing various pages from the report.
Additionally, two other Tppvariables on my report show up as blanks on the printed report
although they show up fine on the preview.
What's odd is that everything works fine in preview mode AND it will print fine if I print
to the default printer or if I set the printer within the ppReport component.
The problem only occurs when I switch printers in the printer dialog screen.
I tried doing this with demo report #1, and this report showed the same problem.
I didn't have this problem in RB 6.03.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
P.S. I am using three printers here -- HP Laserjet 4+, HP Laserjet 8100, HP Laserjet 4100.
