I am having the same problem with 7.03 and Delphi 6. When I select several
object (actually anything over about 3), then they become very slow move
    them using Ctrl- Arrows.

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hi Rodolfo,

I tested this on my machine and though performance did slow down after
selecting 20+ items, it was not un-usable. When selecting multiple
components in a report you can change their properties at the same time in
design time using the object inspector. This is not possible at run-time in
    the designer.

At run time, if I select several (about 10) components and then use
Ctrl-Arrow (up, down, left & right arrows), there is about a 5 second pause
before they move. The problem gets worse the more components that are
selected. However, it first reflects itself when you select 3 for more
    components.

    Thanks,

    Hi Bob,

In my testing on my Pentium 3, 600 w/ 512 ram, I was able to select over 20
components at run-time and move them with the Ctrl key with no more than a
second delay. It is true however that the more report components you
select, the slower ReportBuilder will run. This is due to the way the
Report Designer was designed to handle multiple component selections. This
is definitely on our list of enhancements for a later release.
