BandsPerRecord > 1 with Group KeepTogether

edited October 2003 in General
I am using V7 and I have created a report where I need to keep the detail
band together. To do this I have created a group that breaks on each record
and set the KeepTogether property of the group to True. I want to duplicate
the detail record depending on the value in my dataset, so for each detail
record I set the BandsPerRecord to that value. This all works well except
for when the size of all the bands for the record is longer than the length
of the page, then the break occurs in the detail band at the end of the
page.

For example if the detail band is to be printed 4 times but only 3 will fit
on the page, then I am getting 3 and a bit detail records on the page with
the remaing bit of the 4th one on the next page. I need it to force the
entire 4th one on to the next page. Any ideas?

    Hi Simon,

Try placing all your Detail components inside a TppRegion with its
KeepTogether property set to True. This will keep all detail information
    together on one page.

I'm not sure how I missed that component but thanks, it works brilliantly.
