Im running vers 6.01 Enterprise and am getting "Canvas does not allow
drawing" error messages when trying to load my forms on an XP machine. Odd
thing is that there are three applications all of which make use of the same
forms and only one of the apps is giving me grief. All applications were
rebuilt several times to know avail.

Hi,

This error indicates that either a valid printer driver cannot be accessed
or a valid printer device context cannot be created. Typically this is
thrown when there is not a default printer installed. However, if you are
running as a service, this may mean that the service might not have the same
security rights as the current user. This would also cause a problem.

In order to deal with these issues, we enhanced RB 6.0+ so you can set the
printer name to 'Screen' and then ReportBuilder does not need access to an
actual print driver. My advice is to consider upgrading to our latest
version of ReportBuilder, version 7.03.
