Report crashed

edited March 2004 in General
Hello,

My report crashed, i could preview all DADE datasets in de data tab, but
when previewing i got the error that he couldn't open the dataset.
I got the error already before, but could never find a solution.
I deleted all DADE datasources, recreated them, reassigned all fields on the
report, check that all events where correctly recompiled (all is green).
When previewing the report i'm getting the could not run program =
Month_BudgetOnCalc.
When looking at the code of BudgetOnCalc, the color is green !!

I Can't restart the whole report, i spend 3 days on placing all lines,
area's and over 400 fields on the page.

What can i do/try.

    Ok, found the problem.

I used a value of a parameter. The parameters of the report still existed
but had again the names ppParapeter1 ... 5. When renamind the parameters to
what they should have been named i got the error that ppRepCode alreay
    existed.
I manually edited the .Pas & the .Fdm adn than resaved the report to the
    database.
    Working fine now !!

Most of the problems still are coming after an RTL problem. I know, i'm
still running D6v2 with all the 3 RTL patches for TeeChart. This comination
makes RB7.03 quite unstable with DADE, ADO.

D7 has been ordered, but on the TeeChart newsgroup i saw that there are
still problems even with D7/RB7.03/TeeChart6.01, i hope that these are minor
problems because i don't wan't to do the complete upgrade for no beter
    results !!!!

    Harry,

As far as I know, the D7/RB 7.03/TeeChart 6.01 combination works flawlessly.
All the issues we were having with TeeChart 6.01 were with Delphi 6. You
will be required to recompile and reinstall the ReportBuilder/TeeChart
packages for TeeChart 6.01 to work.
