Printing Garbage under Windows XP
I have a problem where ReportBuilder prints out garbage to an HP DeskJet 400
under Windows XP, but test pages and Microsoft Word prints out fine. The
ink level light flashes when printing from ReportBuilder but not from a test
page or Word. The customer has tried three different printers, always with
the same result. We also have tried different forms and reports within
ReportBuilder. The customer has tried installing the latest HP drivers, but
the problem persists. I'm at a loss to know how to resolve the problem.
Can anybody point me in a right direction for resolving this problem?
I'm using ReportBuilder Professional 6.x with Delphi 5. The print preview
looks fine and no error messages are being reported when printing. The
printout just looks all messed up. This is on a brand new computer.

Try download a trial of RB 7 for Delphi 5.
Try uninstalling all of the drivers from the machine. Then reboot. Then
re-install.
Try printing some come incrementally simple reports. A blank report. A
report with a single lable, etc.
