canvas does not allow drawing

Delphi 5, RBPro 5.56

Only in Win2k, when I open some templates and load them as a sub report I
get the message "canvas does not allow drawing" and the program gets locked
in that message over and over again.

I'm unable to duplicate the problem in win9x or winXP.

I can however open some other templates and I can create a new template.

What is going wrong, and how do I track it down on a non-development system
(built in deuggers not available);

oh and how do I fix it?

Hi Dayna,

Receiving the Canvas does not Allow Printing error usually means one of two
things. There is either a problem with your specific printer driver or
graphics driver. Since the report works correctly on two other operating
systems, this must be the case. The code base is the exact same across
operating systems in ReportBuilder. Please be sure you have the latest
printer driver and graphics driver for your current hardware setup. It this
still does not help, please try downloading a trial version of ReportBuilder
7.03 and see if that helps any.
