group header missing when no title page

edited May 2004 in General
I have a base report. This report has a title page, some standard labels,
etc. I then inherit all my actual reports from this report. For one
particular report I don't want the title page. I can't check off the
Report|Title option in the menu of the report designer because the title
page has labels inherited from the base report and it stuffs up. The simply
solution is to simply set the Visible property of the title page to False.
Or so I thought. The report has a group header and footer. If I print the
title page, the group headers and footers work fine. If I set the Visible to
false, the title page doesn't print (good), the group footer prints (good)
but the group header doesn't print (not good).

What am I mising? This is driving me nuts.

Thanks

Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

This is not a known issue with the current release of ReportBuilder. If
possible, please put together a simple example that uses similar inheritence
to your own project that creates the issue and send it to
support@digital-metaphors.com. I'll then try to recreate it on my machine.
