Displaying alternating rows with a grey shade

I want to display my results such that every other row is shaded with a
light grey. I tryed to just place the data text boxes in two seperate
regions on top of each other where one region was shaded grey, but teh data
came out with the same information printed twice. once shaded, once
unshaded. Does anyone know how to change the shaded row's code to display
the text the way i explained? Thanks.

Take a look at the following example on how to shade every other detail band
a different color. Hope this helps.
