Fitting in fixed section

edited August 2004 in General
Hi,

I have a fixed section and 3 TppDBMemos and a DBCalc. I can reserve
space for 7 records, but if it is more than 7 records or if a record
does not fit a line, some data is printed to next page.

What I want is, to use a smaller font if it won't fit. I want all my
data fit to one page within a fixed are by all means. What may I do to
find a proper sized font?

Thanks for your support.

    Hi Sean,

Check out the following example of making the font smaller to fit all the
text into a single page. You could do something similar with the fixed size
of your subreport/region. This example essentially prints the report to get
the initial size and shrinks the font of each component in the report if the
    size exceeds a certain limit.

Thanks Nico. I'll take a look at it.

Nico, I examined your example but I am not sure if I can make use of
it. I have a report with hundreds of pages and I have to figure out
which of them will not fit.

I am looking for a method to use in aftergenerate event or something to
make sure all pages fit to single page on the fly.

    Thanks,
    sean
