Page Style extra page

edited September 2004 in General
Hello,
I have added a page style in a specific sub report this is to have a
watermark when I have certain data present. The problem is when I do this I
get an extra blank page at the end of my report. I have tried to control the
page style ie. using visible on only certain pages (with RAP) this does work
for the display but I still have my extra blank page at the end.

The report it self can be a variable number of pages so I can't statically
say display on that page and not on another and even if I could I am not
sure this would work as the RAP on visible worked for the display but not
the extra blank page.

Any ideas ?

thanxs
Alex

    Hi Alex,

If you simply remove the Page Style, does the extra page go away? How large
is the Page Style band that you are using? Note that if the PageStyle is
larger than the actual subreport itself, the subreport will stretch to that
size. This could be causeing a page break at the end of your report.

    Hi,

If I remove the pagestyle I have no blank pages at the end.

The subreport is 23mm but is stretched to several pages, the page style was
about 30mm (both have dynamic height). I just tried again with a reduced
page style at 6.5mm and the problem is the same.

What if I used some RAP to force one page less ? I am not sure this possible
    with RAP ?

    Hi Alex,

I have never seen this behavior before. If possible, please send a small
example demonstrating this behavior in .zip format to
support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.
