Header printing when no detail

Hi All,

I have a problem where my group headers sometimes print at the top of
a page when the last detail record for that group has already been
printed on the previous page. I also have instances where the group
header will print at the bottom of a page with no room for any detail
records to follow. How can I get the report to only print a header
when detail records will be printed below it?

RBv7.04 and D7.

Hi Steve,

In the Groups dialog, there is an option named "New Page When Less Than".
If you set this value to the approximate measurement of your header,
ReportBuilder will always move the header to the next page if it barely fits
at the bottom of a page. You will have to play around with it a little to
get the result you are after.
