On Preview, If two pass and 2nd pass is running, click on Search Icon results in error

RB 7.0.4

I have a long running report. Upon preview, the first page is displayed,
While the report is still running, if I click on the search icon, ane then
click on the FindText button, an error is generated:
"TppTextSearchCustomEngine.SearchRequestedPages: Requested page is nil"

Is there a work-around for this?

    Hi Joseph,

I believe this issue was fixed for RB 9. Please download a trial version of
RB 9.02 and see if you still receive the error.

    Thanks

I am in the process of tyring it, but I am getting compile errors.

I am using the Waler components (TExtraDevices), whic are causing me the
problems. Is this package now a part of Delphi (V9.x)

    Hi Joseph,

I believe there is an updated version of TExtraDevices available for RB
9.02. Check http://www.waler.com for more information.

I have installed the upgrade. Unfortunately, the trial version only prints
5 pages, so I don't know if this repairs the problem. Is there a way to get
9.x (non-trial) and see if it repairs the problem?

    Hi Joseph,

So far I have been unable to recreate this error using RB 9.02. Unless this
is an entirely new bug, upgrading to 9.02 should fix the problem. If, after
upgrading, the problem still persists, let me know and I will work on fixing
    it immediately for you.
