RB Enterprise- Possible to create screen forms with RAP?

edited April 2005 in General
Hi,
I'd thinking about using RP Enterprise due to it's RAP features.
But there is one thing: Is the scripting language able to design and
display form on the screen?
I need this for example to request choices and values from the user as
well as display report results (like total numbers of invoices printed
and it's total sum).
To customize my output at the customer site (or let the customer doing
that himself), this forms should be creatable/editable in the FMT
forms and NOT inside my Delphi application.
Does RB Enterprise offers such functions?
If yes, can you direct me to the keyword I'll have to check on the
website, documentation or sample demos?
If not: Are there any plans to implement this in the (near) future?

Regards
Bernd

    Hi Bernd,

It is possible to give your users a custom form in RAP using a pass-thru
function, however it is not currently possible to embed the form inside the
template file. Take a look at demo 35 located in the \RBuilder\Demos\0.
RAP\... directory for an example of this.

    Hi Bernd,

As another option, you might want to check out the AutoSearch feature of
ReportBuilder. This will allow you to ask your users questions about what
data they would like displayed on their report before the report is
generated. Autosearch can be defined in DADE. See the end-user demos for
    some examples.
