New Blog Posts: Merging Reports - Part 1 and Part 2

.Net

edited July 2005 in General
Hi,

1)?When you plan to release the preview & print report .Net viewer ?

2) While we wait, could you write a sample app that create a COM layer
to show a Win32 report viewer & print tool in a VS app ? I'm migrating
from Delphi to VS and I need to add support to RB so fast as possible,
because my customers already have a lot of RB reports (and like very
much RB, as am I).

Thanks in advance,

The goal is the end of this year

We do not have anything to offer that would support .NET Windows Forms.

You can use RB Server Edition to publish reports in an ASP.NET application.
The reports will execute in a Delphi server application (Windows service).
We have an example of using Delphi and our TrsWebTier component to build a
COM object that can be used by ASP.NET. The TrsWebTier handles generating
the web interface for the reports.

You can download a trial version of RB Server Edition from our web site. The
ASP.NET WebTier example can be download here...
